[義務/予定/運命/可能/意思の表現]be to do
👨be to doは「これからのこと」を表現しています。TOEICのPart5にはよく登場します。例えば、下記の様に。

（D）to perform
正解はCですね
be to doは「これからのこと」を表現しています。だから未来を表す文なのに現在形のbe動詞が使われていたら、選択肢の中に「予定」を表すbe to doの形になるものを探します。
また、be to doは、[should do][will do][can do]と置き換えが可能なものが多いです。上記の例題を使うならば、
