😏例えば「for the last three years」と言った場合、現在が2024年8月なら2021年8月ごろから現在までの3年間を指します。
未来への3年間という場合は「for the next three years」となります。やはりこれも現在を含む3年後の今頃までの期間をさします。
【ここ数年】という表現
・for the last few years「ここ数年」💡上記の例の数字をfewに替えた表現です。
前置詞forを使う意味とforを他の前置詞｛in, over｝に入れ替えるとどうなるのか？
・forは：期間中の継続的な状態や行動の表現のときによく使われる。
・overに変えると:期間全体にわたる変化やプロセスを強調する表現のときによく使われる。
・inに変えると:期間を通してや期間にわたってではなく、「期間中に」起きた出来事の表現によく使われます。
